Environmental Committment
I have always been interested in the outdoors, environment, plants, and animals. As a committment to the environment, I try to use and offer environmentally friendly products when available. Also, I reduce, re-use, and recycle whenever possible.
Products
- Teddy Bears
- The teddy bears at Snips and Paws are from the Aurora Naturally line. The plush is made with soy and the stuffing comes from kapok pods. Be sure to check them out on the shopping page.
- Dog Treats
- I use all natural and organic ingredients whenever available.
- Future Products
- In the future I will be adding a line of home made environmentally household items and environmentally friendly gift wrapping items.
Packaging
- Mailing
- I re-use packaging materials that I have recieved. That's why you might see non-biodregradable packaging when you recieve a Snips and Paws package. Otherwise, I purchase biodgradable items such as the "popcorn" made from starch. I encourage you to reuse or recycle any packing materials that you can.
- Dog Treat Bags
- The 1 lb. bags come in kraft paper tin tie bags. Smaller portions are packaged in compostable cello bags.
- Labels
- I use the Eco Friendly line of labels from Avery for the dog treat labels.
